Class A
This type of license entitles you to operate vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more like a semi-tractor and trailers.
Class B
This type of license lets you drive a single vehicle weighing 26,001 pounds or more without a trailer as well as any vehicle towing a trailer that weighs less than 10,000 pounds.
